I am a professional sports coach and personal trainer with 38 years experience teaching sports & fitness, based in Balham, South London, with a dedication to helping all of my clients achieve their goals.

For the past 12 years, I focussed my attention on professional archery coaching, and trained many thousands of archers from all over the world. I have now decided to return to teaching health & fitness again as a personal trainer, and look forward to helping many more people achieve a lifetime of health.

How much do you charge ?

I currently charge £60 per hour for any of the personal training services that I offer.

What makes you different from other personal trainers

I have been training people in sports and fitness since 1986. I have far more knowledge and experience than 99% of all the personal trainers out there. Please head over to the "Why choose me", page, and you can find out a lot more about me.

What area's do you cover

I am based in Balham, South London, and can travel anywhere within Londons transport network.

Do you charge for an initial consultation ?

If you wish to meet up for an informal chat to discuss your training needs, and to get an idea of what personal training is all about, there is no charge, and no obligation to proceed if you feel that I am not the right personal trainer for you.

Formal assessment to create your personal training plan

If you should decide to proceed with personal training, then we can set a time and date to carry out a formal assessment, which would involve taking measurements and working out a training plan. The formal assessment is charged at £60, as there is a lot of work involved. 

Do I need any equipment?

Equipment requirements vary depending on the specific personal training program. We'll discuss any necessary equipment during your consultation.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee.

About me

I am a professional sports coach, and CIMSPA Qualified Level 3 personal trainer based in Balham, South London, UK, and have 38 years of experience in teaching sports and fitness.

My journey into the world of fitness started in 1984, when I took up Martial Arts training. I loved it with a passion, and still do to this very day. I trained two hours a day, every single day during my first year, and then upped it to 2-3 hours a day for the second year, and as a result my skills developed rapidly.

It was during this time that I started my own studies on anatomy and physiology, reading every medical book I could get my hands on, so that I could understand the human body inside out.

In 1986 I started teaching Martial Arts and fitness to my first ever student, and since then, have taught sports and fitness to many thousands of people. I have also utilised my knowledge, skills and real world experience to teach personal training courses in Central London, to the next generation of personal trainers.

I am an extremely dedicated personal trainer, committed to helping my clients achieve their health and fitness goals, and my passion for fitness and commitment to my clients has earned me a reputation for excellence.
